The Women Embracing Creativity Mission
The mission of Women Embracing Creativity is threefold:
To spread the word that creativity is accessible to all people
To empower women and girls to celebrate their true creative talents
To provide simple and fun ways to educate women and girls about creativity
Who can benefit from Women Embracing Creativity?
WEC is designed to help women of a variety of ages and backgrounds begin building a foundation for creativity in their lives. Our book and course are presented in a simple, straightforward, and practical manner, giving a sense of possibility to the sometimes difficult task of breaking through creative blocks. Here is a sample of some of the women who have found success through our course:
Women (generally 18 and older) who have little creative experience, but are interested in creativity
Artists in various disciplines who have been sidelined by creative blocks
Women whose perfectionism blocks them from accomplishing creative projects
Women who find themselves getting "stuck" at certain points in the creative process
Women who want to be creative but don't think they are
Businesswomen and professionals who want to approach their work in an innovative way
Women who enjoy creativity, but have found it's slipped from their lives.
Women who are interested in exploring their creativity with a group of their peers
